Drawing from tools and experience
There are a number of tools, areas of experience and approaches which are part of my skill set. These are tools that I have returned to and reached for in an eclectic range of project work.
They are included here as they are available as a toolkit and body of experience to draw upon in our 1:1 and group work. There is also so scope to call upon this expertise if you need help with your projects.
What unifies these tools and insight now is the framing of the Gift Field approach. Experiences has taught me that starting with what is strong, sometimes almost effortless and powerful, provides a better basis for looking at challenges. It is also really inspiring and fun.

Cultural Values
Barrett Cultural Values tools are a highly visual and insightful way to map the cultural health of a team, organisation or system. Surveys and culture change projects have enabled teams to design creative and impactful culture change projects.

Participatory Research
Action Research approaches underpin most project work. Tools like Appreciative Inquiry, Action Learning Sets and Cooperative Inquiry, enable people to lead their own research and apply insights into practice, and build team spirit at the same time.

Social Innovation
With experience of leading social innovation activity in practice there is a wealth of learning, experience and tips to bring to your practice and projects. If you are exploring social innovation as an approach in your work, there is lots to draw upon that can help you.

Arts and Health
With a wealth of experience of Arts and Health action research and delivery projects – particularly where arts are used as a tool for understanding health and social purpose goals, there are rich insights to share which can help with personal or project development.

Holistic Wellbeing
Work in health care, complementary medicine and wellbeing research provides a useful dimension of expertise to support your personal and project development. Central to this is the holistic approach, which is the precursor to the Gift Field approach.

Learning Partnership
Working within a learning partnership is a way that social purpose projects and practitioners are developing skills and initiatives. Using tools like Human Learning Systems there is a wealth of experience to bring to your project work, kinship groups or 1:1 Guidance.

Social Leadership
Leading social purpose work can be challenging as leaders look for methods that give them influence and impact, without the need for exerting control. Bringing experience of leadership and supporting leaders to develop, this is useful experience for your work and development.

Coaching and Guidance
The Gene Keys Guides Approach underpins all guidance. Wider coaching tools and approaches along with experience of coaching practitioners, managers and leaders is also a key part of what feeds the individual and group work – and gives it real world relevance.
